Decades of consolidation and IPO activity has resulted in a vast reduction of well financed, technologically advanced "micro" independents which are able to target smaller objectives (10-100 MM$).  Enviro Shield believes the smaller objectives will be more plentiful when production prices have increased.  Prior to the reduction of production prices, Enviro Shield aligned itself in a joint venture with Samson Lone Star, L.L.C., Oil & Gas Equity Management and Corridor Oil & Gas LP to develop 4,000+ acres of existing production in Schleicher County, Texas.  The falling product prices has caused Enviro Shield to look to the unconventional phase and has obtained substantial acreage interest in East Texas to pursue the Eagle Ford and Bossier shale plays which it believes to exist under the acreage.
